Rhiannon Phillips – RN, IBCLC

Registered Nurse, Lactation Consultant

Rhiannon achieved her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Ottawa and has dedicated her career to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Her affinity for caring for the tiniest and most delicate infants blossomed early in her professional journey. Rhiannon amassed years of NICU expertise at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton and, more recently, at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.

Beyond her role as a Registered Nurse (RN), Rhiannon is also an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), committed to advocating for and empowering new mothers and families. She harbors a profound passion for newborns and breastfeeding, acknowledging the individuality of feeding strategies as unique as each baby.

Rhiannon’s extensive experience in the hospital, particularly with premature infants and complex feeders, has equipped her with profound insights into the complexities of infant feeding. Coupled with her personal breastfeeding journey with her own two children, she empathizes with the stress, anxiety, and concerns that new mothers may encounter. Collaborating with mothers and babies and providing steadfast professional support, Rhiannon strives to nurture success and confidence in every individual feeding journey.
